SPOILER **** TROY **** SPOILER
|
|
Have you seen TROY? If YES check this
http://www.toshistation.com/troy/
If NO, then stay put. Go see the movie, it just a MOVIE, but then laugh a litte with this:
- The war took ten years, not seventeen days
- Achilles was dead by the time the Horse was built and deployed
- Menelaus wasn’t killed by Hektor
- Menelaus got Helen in the end (Telemachus, Odysseus’ son, visits them in Sparta in Book 4 of the Odyssey, ten years after the war)
- Agamemnon was killed by his wife, Clytemnestra, back in Greece, immediately after the war
- Aias (Ajax) was not killed by Hektor; he committed suicide when not given the armor of Achilles after Achilles’ death
- Paris died at Troy (of an arrow wound, appropriately)
- Andromache, Hektor’s wife, was captured and enslaved
- Baby Astyanax, Hektor’s son, was tossed off the walls after having his brains bashed out by Odysseus
- Patroklos was older, not younger than Achilles and was not his cousin
- Briseis was from Lyrnessos, not Troy, and was neither a priestess of any kind nor the cousin of Hektor

Let me explain:
As I reported before S.L.BENFICA won the Portuguese Cup this year. In that game it was shown these banners, but NOT ALL al the same moment, first the guys waited for all to applaud and thanks for the "kind words", even the Porto fans (dambasses: )
First It reads:
AFTER ALL
YOU'RE GOING TO REPRESENT OUR COLORS
GOOD LUCK ON THE FINAL AT THE 26th
GO MONACO
I recall the Porto F.C. is going to play with MONACO in the Champs League
What to say: GO MONACO

Benfica: Moreira; Armando (Fernando Aguiar, 55'), Ricardo Rocha, Luisão e Fyssas, Petit, Tiago (Zahovic, 79'), Miguel e Simão; Nuno Gomes e Sokota (Geovanni, 55').
Suplentes: Bossio, Argel, Hélder, Fernando Aguiar, Zahovic, Geovanni e João Pereira.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mel or Monty?... The Passion or the Python?
|
|
Monty Python Producer John Goldstone:
“In view of the furore over Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ we think it important to offer an alternative view from Monty Python and are planning a theatrical re-release (or second coming) of Life of Brian.”
“A lot of people in America have said that they couldn't figure out a way to deal with the public reaction to Mel's movie,” John Goldstone told Daily Variety yesterday. “This is a kind of antidote to Mel.”
